Five things to organise
Use this checklist to prepare a supplier brief. It is not an operating method.
- Ask a local lawn specialist whether aeration suits your grass, soil and season.
- Measure lawn area, gates and access routes. Note slopes and steps.
- Locate irrigation, cables and shallow services. Mark obstructions before work.
- Ask the hire business about machine weight, transport, loading and safe operating limits.
- Compare hire with a gardener’s service, including your transport, time and clean-up.
